Masters of Science is a New York–based creative studio and consulting agency specializing in branding, advertising and design that consists of just one person, John Verrochi.
John has over a decade of experience working at some of the top agencies in the country such as 72andSunny, Anomaly, The Martin Agency, R/GA and Venable Bells & Partners. Throughout, he has created big moment campaigns for brands like EA Sports, MINI Cooper and Microsoft. Including the episodic buddy rivalry between Paul Rudd and Ray Lewis for Madden NFL, and the MINI KISS partnership that broke sales records and raised hundred of thousands of dollars for disaster relief.
As active outside of advertising as he is in it, John’s mixtape events and entrepreneurial projects have garnered him national attention. Including a bit in the NY Times Magazine, a feature on NPR’s Now Hear This, and have lead to a couple of speaking engagements at SXSW. One of his projects also got him a cease and desist order from the MLB and, subsequently, arrested outside of AT&T Park, but that’s a longer story.
John is your typical Midwestern transplant living in Brooklyn, where he’s only found one bar that will put the Blues games on for him (shoutout to Mekelburg’s!) But he is always eager to take on new projects wherever they may take him. Say hi at email@example.com
