LAST CALL FESTIVAL

Last Call is an annual end of life festival held in St. Louis, MO. We partnered with them to create a distinctive brand identity, tone of voice, and promotional materials. Eschewing clichéd death imagery such as crossbones, tombstones, and coffins, we leveraged AI technology to craft original illustrations that delved into mythical and psychological themes related to death. The outcome was a series of unique, proprietary images that were seamlessly integrated across the festival's media assets.

The 2023 event not only saw record attendance but also sold out of the branded merchandise we developed.

Using AI technology, like Midjourney, allowed us to develop hundreds of illustration in a short manner of time. Although we ultimately went with four illustration to use in the branding, we created many more that would have worked just as well. To highlight the deep exploration we did we cut together a quick video highlighting some of our favorites.
